Excellent c1940 Midcentury Cityscape Watercolor Painting by G. Boxill

Up for sale is a superbly-executed watercolor painting on artist''s paper. This painting portrays a very industrial look for a harbor and cityscape with skyscrapers. It is signed "G. Boxill" at lower right. It is undated, but likely dates to the 1940''s or 1950''s. I''m unsure what city this is (the harbor building says "Green Lines," which might give someone a clue as to the locale. It''s incredibly well-done for a watercolor and would make a fine addition to any collection. It comes matted, but unframed. Looks like it could be easily removed from the matting and reframed, but I''ll leave that up to the buyer.

Condition: The painting is in very good condition. I don''t see any issues of note. The matting is faded and toned as pictured.

Measurements: Painting measures 16 inches wide x 12 inches high. Matting measures 20 inches wide x 16 inches high.
