Antique Hohner Accordion - Germany - St Louis

Offered as it was found. M. HOHNER accordion, stamped with the "Gold Medal" to signify this model having won the highest award at the 1904 St. Louis Worlds Fair. This instrument shows obvious wear, including the missing clasps that hold it it a closed position. One of the buttons doesn''t stay in position as seen in photo #3. Still, a local musician was able to play this instrument when I brought it to him to learn a little more about it. Whether it can be restored to a better playable condition I have no idea but it carries a good bit of history and looks great as a display piece.
